AJ Perez Cause Of Death & Accident Details
AJ Perez had just ended a concert in Dagupan and was traveling home in an ABS-CBN service van with his father, Gerardo, and four others on April 17, 2011.
The van’s driver attempted to overtake a trailer truck but collided with a passenger on a Partas provincial bus. At 12:10 a.m., he was confirmed dead at the Rayos-Valentin Hospital in Paniqui, Tarlac.
His death was first attributed to “several head injuries,” according to initial reports. However, an examination found that his shattered ribs penetrated his heart and lungs, killing him.
On April 26, 2011, Perez was laid to rest at the Manila Memorial Park in Paraaque. The driver of the vehicle that transported Perez and four passengers was charged with reckless imprudence by ABS-CBN.

AJ Perez attended ABS-CBN Talent Center’s self-improvement seminars and was one of Star Magic’s new talents launched on its 13th anniversary in 2006.
In December 2006, he made his cinematic debut as Judy Ann Santos’ younger brother in the award-winning Star Cinema film Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo.
Perez played his first main part in a television series, Sabel, in December 2010, alongside Jessy Mendiola and Joseph Marco.
