Misty Wentworth’s age makes her the oldest sister
Misty Wentworth is believed to be over 45 years old, Gossip Next Door reports. She graduated from Gallatin County Unit in 1994 and grew up in Shawneetown, Illinois, with her sibling Amanda Halterman.
She is now living in Morganfield, Kentucky, with her husband, David. She is the eldest Slaton sister and is currently married, which is why she has the surname Wentworth instead of Slaton.
Misty on 1000-lb Sisters spoke about her main worry for weight loss surgery being who would look after her boys, as she has four sons who are mostly in their 20s, while her eldest, Dustin, is 30.
1000-lb Sisters star underwent surgery
Misty is underwent weight loss surgery with her sister Amanda on the popular show. She decided to order a large rack of ribs as her last meal at Comfort Restaurant before the procedure takes place.
Worried about surgery, Amanda and Misty done a last-minute cleanse to sweat out nicotine. Later, Amanda and Chris were nervously waiting to find out how Misty’s procedure went.
Luckily, everything went fine and her procedure didn’t have any complications. Amy Slaton had cried before the surgery as she was worried about losing her sisters during the risky procedure.
Inside Misty’s family life
Misty and her husband David have four boys: Austin, Josh, Matt and Dustin. Her son, Dustin, is 30 years old and works as a homecare giver. Josh graduated from high school in 2014.
She mentioned during season 2 episode 1 that she can’t be around for long for filming because she has three disabled children at home to take care of. Three of her sons work either part-time or full-time jobs.
