The victim girl who is now 19 years old was facing molestation since she was 14 years old. And finally, on 3rd November she raised her voice against Joel telling the truth to the investigators. The victim is none other than Joel’s adopted daughter Echo Koskan.

After the victim girl raised her voice Joel was arrested on 3rd November 2022. The investigation has been going against him. He use to give kisses to the victim girl who is his stepdaughter. He use to give her long hugs and let her sit on his lap and groom with her body. He made fool of the girl making her believe what he does is normal and nothing wrong with it. A girl was too young to understand what is all going on with her.

Echo began believing that it is normal what Joel does with her. In the investigation victim girl also revealed that Joel installed a camera in his bedroom when she was only 14 years old. He began making videos of her in order to watch them on his phone. He began raping her when Echo reached his 17th year of age and did many times.

The victim girl finally understands what Joel did with her is wrong when she learned things related to rape and sexual molestation from her school counselor while attending a religious summer camp. She then realized that what Joel did with her is totally wrong and she has been rapped many times.

As of now, Joel is facing multiple counts of rape. He also faces charges of sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16. If he will found guilty he may spend his next 10 years in jail and would have to pay a fine of $20000 USD.

He then lost his first election in 2018 against Troy Heinert of the Democrat party for the South Dakota State Senate District 26. Again on November 16, 2018, he lost once again against Troy Heinert with a gap of 446 votes only.
